Where to swim in the Luberon
On hot summer days, the first question is always the same: where can we swim near Apt? We’re sure you’ll find the perfect spot, whether at lakes, rivers or public swimming facilities. Here’s our selection of the best places for a refreshing swim in the Luberon.
Lakes worth discovering
Even though the region is better known for its Colorado Provençal, there are also several unmissable swimming spots:
- Étang de la Bonde in Cabrières-d’Aigues, with turquoise waters and a natural setting perfect for relaxation.
- Lac des Salettes in Mormoiron, where the natural charm is preserved.
- Lac du Paty in Caromb, a peaceful haven ideal for a quiet break.
Public swimming pools
Across the area, you’ll find a number of municipal pools, to the delight of visitors. In addition to the Viton pool in Apt, you can enjoy swimming in Céreste, Rustrel and Saint-Martin-de-Castillon.
