As a starter, the “mus\u00e9e de la Lavande<\/a><\/strong>” in Coustellet is the perfect place to get all the information you need about lavender<\/strong>, its varieties,harvesting, uses etc… <\/p>\n\n

You can then continue your discovery by visiting the Les Agnels distillery<\/a><\/strong> in Apt. Here, distillation takes place all year round, and everything will be explained to you with passion. There’s also a nice store on site, and a nice walk in the surrounding area is recommended. The scenery is breathtaking during the flowering season. <\/p>\n\n

2 famous events are organised in the surroundings during summer. The Lavander festival in Apt<\/strong>, traditionally held in mid-July during the Lavandin harvest, and the lavender festival in Sault<\/strong>, which takes place later in the year due to the difference in altitude. <\/p>\n\n
